This policy explains how AnimeVerse uses information when you browse, create an account or place an order. We use the details needed to operate the store, arrange delivery, support customers and protect accounts. It also explains browser storage, service providers and how to contact us about your information.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use the store, we receive your name, email address, phone number, delivery address, governorate, delivery notes and order details. We also keep account and payment preferences and, for wallet or InstaPay orders, the sender identifier you provide to identify your payment. Product activity is counted using a random browser identifier; request information such as an IP address is used to limit abuse.
How we use information
We use this information to manage accounts, prepare and deliver orders, send verification codes and order messages, respond to support requests and prevent abuse. Product-view and wishlist counts, together with order records, help us understand demand and manage the store.
Service providers and delivery
We share the information needed to fulfil orders with delivery providers and use hosting, database and email services to run the store. These services may process data outside Egypt. If you choose Google sign-in, Google provides the identity information needed to sign in, such as your name and verified email. We do not sell your personal information to advertising companies.
Payments
Available payment methods include cash on delivery, mobile wallet transfers and InstaPay. The store records your selected method, payment status and any sender identifier you provide. We do not ask for bank-card numbers, card security codes, banking passwords or wallet PINs. Never send those details to customer support.
Cookies and browser storage
Session cookies keep you signed in and help you access guest orders. Browser storage remembers your cart, wishlist, language and guest delivery details. Saved guest details may remain until you clear the site's data or your browser removes them. Clearing browser data can sign you out and remove saved preferences; it does not delete account or order records held by the store.
Account security
Account passwords are stored as salted password hashes rather than readable passwords. Access to account data and administration is controlled by sign-in and permissions. Use a unique password, keep verification codes private and sign out on shared devices. No online service can guarantee complete protection against every security risk.
Records and your choices
You can update available account and delivery details in account settings. Contact us to request access to, correction of or deletion of your information, or to raise a privacy concern. We may need to verify your identity. Some records may need to be retained for order handling, disputes or applicable legal requirements; clearing the browser or signing out does not remove those records.
Contact and policy changes
Use the store's published contact details to ask about privacy or report suspected account misuse. We may update this page when store features or data handling change. Review it when using new features, especially on shared devices.
Personalized recommendations
We use activity saved in this browser to suggest products that may interest you. This includes the identifiers of products you open, series you visit, products matching your searches, cart and wishlist additions, longer visits to product pages and recommendation cards you see, together with activity times. The history does not contain your search text, is not sent to the server and is not linked to your account. Activity expires after 60 days and is removed on your next visit. Each browser has a separate history, which may be shared by people using the same browser. You can clear interests or turn off personalization using the controls below. Turning it off clears the history and stops new activity from being added; general recommendations remain available. These choices do not delete your cart, wishlist, account or order records.
